      Description
            
              jQuery before 3.0.0 is vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) attacks when a cross-domain Ajax request is performed without the dataType option, causing text/javascript responses to be executed.
A fix for CVE-2015-9251 would introduce backward incompatible changes. Considering the tradeoff between the stability of Amazon Linux 2 and the impact of CVE-2015-9251, a fix will not be provided for Ruby 2.0 in the Amazon Linux 2 Core repository at this time.
